Now I own my own coaching business

When I look back at my career, the feeling that I remind myself of, is the part of recruiting I love the most. It was helping someone get their dream job. It was the mentoring that I did outside of my KPI.

Supporting people and allowing them to be themselves, and doing the very best that I can.

One of the reasons I love coaching

One of my favorite times of the year, is Christmas, because it means I have many reasons to give and that's one of the reasons I love coaching. I think I feel really guilty and geeky right now saying this.

"You're never going to join, because you're waiting for the possibility of a lobotomy, that you'll be imprisoned. Know that it matters, sharing fear and turning up."

I just love that I get to give, it's appreciated and it makes people feel good. I just love it. It's pretty well me living my purpose.

I was a lot more wide eyed than now...

I've got four events coming up nationally teaching a masterclass in coaching. So ultimately, it's literally stuff from ultimate you on how to be their true selves.

I was a lot more wide eyed than now. But I still had the same curiosity even though I had stacks of anxiety so severe, worried about "Is it gonna work out?" I couldn't see past and the beginning.

It is about showing up consistency and I've had so many opportunities because I also do diversity and inclusion workshops and I've got a social enterprise that I'm delivering diversity and inclusion because they don't have that expertise to support refugees and that's a payed gig! I showed up because they said "We needs you!" because they knew how passionate I am about the human experience and human behaviours and it was how I showed up previously with much passion and joy.

I believe everyone has the right, I believe personally, that everyone has the right to a good life in this world. And it's about how can I make that difference to others.

It is about showing up consistently and the opportunities.

Do the thing, feel whatever you feel. Do the thing.

The emotion is a requirement to know that it matters and if you can't wait for the emotion to disappear before you commit, then there's nothing to commit to. In fact anybody who's had an operation in the part of the brain that takes away emotion is incapable of making any decision.

They literally render themselves incapable of even, for instance, deciding between which type of chocolate. Emotion is a requirement for commitment. Without emotion there is no commitment, so people say, "What if my fear is to disappear before I join."

"Do the thing, feel fear. Do the thing, feel whatever you feel..."
