Testimonials

"Dear Sharon, Joe, Connie & TCI Support Team,

A heartfelt “thank you” for a truly transformational 7 days! TCI’s NLP Practitioner training quite literally turned my life around. No doubt about it.

I’ve been pain-free since I completed the course. That’s following 18 years of ‘doing’ fibromyalgia. I even cured myself of restless leg syndrome. If faced with a health ‘challenge’, I just ask myself “how am I doing this?” and presto it’s gone.

Controlling my ‘state’, I discovered, isn’t limited to health. The weekend following our NLP training, I put in an awesome paddle at the Corporate Games - Outrigger Canoeing held at Docklands.

Thanks to the TCI team, I’m living purposefully and with passion, creating the world I really want. My map of the world has changed irrevocably.

Now to pass that gift along...

In light & love,"

"Coaching is a journey of passion, integrity, inspiration and dedication just to name a few. These values are extremely important to The Coaching Institute, its founder Sharon Pearson and her team who deliver nothing less than the values which they teach. John and I are both students with TCI and would not hesitate in recommending their training programs to anyone who is passionate about inspiring people through coaching to reach their full potential. “I have 18 paying clients, my own coaching offices and I’m absolutely delighted with everything I experienced at The Coaching Institute. They have supported me, offered guidance at every step and delivered far more than I expected. Thank you TCI!”

<$title$>Hello Reader,

I have learned that the quality of my life is determined by the quality of my thinking. If I think negative thoughts, my day isn’t as great as when I think empowering thoughts. If I focus on what I can’t do, I don’t feel so great about myself. If I focus on what I think I have to lose, I feel fearful.

The reverse is also true – if I focus on what is going well, my day goes better. When I focus on possibilities, I feel excited. When I focus on what I can build and create, I notice abundance around me.

We are truly the creators of our worlds – yet so many people don’t know how to tap into their own amazing power and shape a life full of passion, possibilities and abundance. In fact many people don’t even know that this is available to them!

This newsletter is dedicated to sharing how to use our minds to work for us to create the life of our dreams.

Until we meet may you have many more..

...outstanding moments...

Warmest regards,

Sharon

Making Your Mind Work for You for (a) Change
by Sharon Pearson

Your mind is an extraordinary device – it will think about ANYTHING you want it to, for as long as you want it to, in as much detail as you choose.

What are the thoughts that dominate your mind?

How can I succeed?
How can I be the difference?
How can I care even more?
What’s one thing I could do today?
How can I be of more support?
How can I serve?

What if I fail?
Who cares?
What difference does it make?
Why me?
Why don’t they support me?
What’s in it for me?

Many of these questions are asked unconsciously – we don’t even realise we are asking them, yet we are constantly asking ourselves questions that either move us towards a fulfilling life or head us into misery.

It is said that the quality of your life is determined by the quality of your questions. Ask yourself these questions daily – and more importantly – take the time to answer them!

  • Who do I love and who loves me?
  • What can I do today that will make me smile?
  • If I let go of guilt, how would it benefit me?
  • If I let go of resentment, how would it benefit me?
  • If I let go of guilt and resentment, how would it benefit those around me?
  • What will I no longer tolerate?
  • What’s one brave thing I can do today?
  • Who can I share a random act of kindness with today?
  • How can I appreciate and share my kindness and warmth today even more?
  • What am I grateful for?

Your thoughts are your choice. Spend thirty days asking yourself the above questions each and every day and notice what has changed in your life... and see the ripple effect it has on those around you!

A Bright Future for TCI Coach Graduate RB and Family Business

In the centre of Sydney’s busy CBD are a couple of busy hardware stores in prime locations near the renowned shopping precincts of Martin Place and the QVB. Sunlite City Hardware is described in Australian Hardware Journal as “Dynamic, energized, electrified and just plan “WOW”! The business recently won the Retail of the Year Award (Training), Sydney. This is the first time a hardware store has ever won!

The front man is none other than Steven Czeiger, Managing Director (known to TCI as RB), and 28 years old. RB attributes his success and the success to run the family business to the training and skills he acquired through TCI. RB came to run the family business 3 years ago at a very challenging time of the business. He had a thought if he got coaching skills he could use it in the business.

RB found TCI in 2006. He has always been interested in human behavior and helping people achieve their full potential. Now, as a Certified Life Coach he is developing 15 staff through his coaching and training. He has built a winning cohesive team by changing the culture and attitude of a 2nd generation family business.

In my interview with RB he says “as a life coach and doing the coaching journey he is constantly stepping up to his potential by being a living breathing example of leadership” for his team. Doing the TCI course has helped him to be clear about his own set of values and limiting beliefs.

What does the future hold for this young dynomo? Since the award he has been asked to be a workshop speaker for WRAPS, New South Wales Retail Association Service Industry Training Council at their Annual Conference. How’s that for a recent graduate? Pretty stunning we’d say. Well done RB we are very proud of your success!

Coach Corner

I’ve been getting a lot of feedback from students wondering what the protocols are
when asking family, friends and work colleagues, etc whether they would be interested in receiving Pro Bono coach sessions. When making the approach simply –

ASK - if your possible Pro Bono client would be interested in receiving 6 coaching sessions. In return we ask for their testimonial for the student coach. Their testimonial becomes part of the student coaches’ assessment.

CONFIRM – their decision to go ahead, if they decide they would like 6 coaching sessions you need to collect their contact details and forward them via email to Student Support. Let them know they can expect to receive a “Thank You” email from our Student Support as a signal TCI has received their name. Their contact details then go on the TCI Pro Bono list. When a coach student is ready to receive a Pro Bono client - contact details are given to the coach student along with your name as the student who contributed the Pro Bono client’s name on our list.

ACKNOWLEDGE – the pro bono client. You like receiving acknowledgements and so do they… practice the acknowledgement frame. “Acknowledge the action, then the person”.

Thank you to all of you for responding so wonderfully by providing an abundance of Pro Bono clients names for your list.

For any queries, clarification or just a general “catch-up” contact me on studentsupport@thecoachinginstitute.com.au
